How to measure wallpaper without pattern
When the wallpaper model has no pattern the wall height should be measured from floor to ceiling and the whole wall width no matter if it has doors or windows. The objetive is to know the number of required sheets to cover the wall.
Example: We have a wall with 3.00 meters height, 4.00 meters width and a wallpaper roll of 10 meters height and 0.53 meters width.

Step 1: Get the amount of sheets
In order to get the number of required sheets to cover the whole wall, the wall width must be divided by the roll width: 4.00 / 0.53 = 7.54, the result must be rounded to the next integer number due we need complete sheets, in this case it would be 8 sheets for covering the wall.
Step 2: Get the amount of rolls
In order to get the number of rolls, first we should know how many sheets we can get from a roll, for instance, we divide the roll height by the wall height: 10 / 3.00 = 3.33, the result must be rounded to the previous integer number due we need complete sheets, in this case it would be 3 sheets per roll and the .33 is wastage.
Finally, we divide the required sheets to cover the wall by the sheets gotten in one wallpaper roll: 8 / 3 = 2.66, the result must be rounded to the next integer number due we need to buy complete rolls, in this case it will be 3.
Step 3: Add the rolls to cart
This means we have to add 3 rolls to the cart.
In summary
Wall width / Roll width = Number of sheets to cover the wall (round to the next integer number)
Roll height / Wall height = Number of sheets per roll (round to the previous integer number)
Number of sheets to cover the wall / Number of sheets per roll = Number of required rolls (round to the next integer number)
How to measure wallpaper with pattern
When the wallpaper model has a pattern, the wall height is measured from floor to ceiling and the complete width no matter if there are doors or windows. The objective is to know the number of required sheets for covering the wall.
The repetition is the measurement of the wallpaper draw that repeats itself periodically along the wallpaper roll.

Example: We have a 3.50 meters height and 4.00 meters width wall and the wallpaper roll has a 10 meters height and 0.53 meters width with a repetition of 64 centimeters.

First you must get the height of a sheet with complete repetitions, so the 3.50 meters wall height must be divided by 0.64 meters of the repetition: 3.50 / 0.64 = 5.46. The result is the number of times the pattern repeats itself in a wall sheet. That result must be rounded to the next integer number, in this case to 6.
Even though the wall height is 3.50 meters, a height to work with is needed for knowing the amount of sheets for covering the wall. To accomplish this, the repetition measurement is multiplied for the number of times the pattern repeats itself in one sheet: 0.64 X 6 = 3.84. The result will be the height to consider to know the amount of sheets for covering the wall.

We divide the roll height by the obtained wall height: 10 / 3.84 = 2.60, the result is rounded to the next integer number due we need complete sheets, in this case is 2 sheets per roll and the .60 is wastage.
Finally, the required sheets to cover the wall are divided by the sheets obtained from a wallpaper roll: 6 / 2= 3, the result is rounded to the next integer number in case of having a result with decimals due we need to buy complete rolls, in this case is 3 instead of 4 because the result hasn't decimals.
Step 5: Add the rolls to cart
This means we have to add 3 rolls to the cart.
In summary
Wall width / Roll width = Number of sheets to cover the wall (round to the next integer number)
Wall height / Repetition measurement = Number of times the pattern repeats itself in a sheet (round to the next integer number)
Repetition measurement / Number of times the pattern repeats itself in a sheet = New wall height
Roll height / New all height = Number of sheets per roll (round to the previous integer number)
Number of sheets to cover the wall / Number of sheets per roll = Number of required rolls (round to the next integer number)
How to measure wallpaper on stairways
The way to measure the stairway walls is sheet by sheet. The reason is because each stair height or ceilings may vary slightly as well as stairs width. Depending on the wallpaper has repetition or not, you must consider the instructions of the above sections where we explain you how to measure in each case.
For knowing the size of each sheet, you must consider the longest measure of the top and bottom of the stairway wall.

How to measure murals
Murals have a defined measure, for example, 3.66 meters width and 2.44 meters height. In these cases, you must try to fit the mural to the wall measurements where you are planning to install it. The mural must have the same or similar height and width and consider that the draw of the mural shall not look cut or incomplete. It is not recommended that the wall height or width is greater than the mural.
How to measure panels
First is to determine the measure of the panel is planned to be installed on the wall. If the wall is perpendicular at the borders with 2 other walls, or if there is not any other walls at the borders, the design sequence must be followed, starting from the center of the wall and installing them from top to bottom.

In case the wall is perpendicular only in one of the borders, the installation must start at the side where there is no walls towards the border where the other wall is, the cuts must be done at that side.

Example: We have a wall of 3.05 meters height and 4.20 meters width, the panel to be installed has measurements of 30 centimeters height and 30 centimeters width.
Step 1: Make a drawing of the location of each panel
A drawing must be made on paper with the wall size and draw the lines to know how the panels will be distributed, this is how you can visualize how many cuts you'll have to make at the wall borders. After that is recommended to draw those lines on the wall.
Step 2: Consider the space between joints
Between the joints, you must consider an approximate space of 1 to 1.5 millimeters, as is explained in section Installation. The measurements left between each joint must be considered on the drawing at the previous step.
Step 3: Get the number of panels
Once you have the final drawing, you can count the number of required panels.
Important: In case that lateral borders or bottom border still have space to install more panels, is recommended to put a visual finish such as a plywood or aluminium frame, etc. instead of leaving cut panels. In some cases and depending on reliefs, it may be convenient to install the cut panels but this will depend on the panel design and your decision.
At the product details of each panel, there is the number of panels per box, and for knowing the number of boxes, you have to divide the number of panels you require according to the drawing you made, by the number of panels a box has. In our example, there are 13.95 panels lengthwise and 10.13 in height (considering 1 millimeter of joint), for instance, we multiply 13.95 X 10.13 = 141.31. This result is the number of panels needed and we round it to the next integer number, this is 142.
Step 4: Get the number of boxes
Now we divide the number of panels we need by the number of panels a box has: 142 / 44 = 3.22. The result has to be rounded to the next integer number to get the required boxes, in this case is 4.
Step 5: Add boxes to cart
This means we have to add 4 boxes to the cart.
Important: Another way to calculate the number of required boxes, is getting the total area of the wall and divide it by the total area a panel box has, but we suggest you to make the drawing due to it will be more useful to visualize how the panels are going to be distributed so you can take the best decision.
Calculator
In all wallpaper and panel website pages there is a calculator for rolls and boxes depending on the product, and even though it is developed to help you to find out the quantity of product you need, we suggest you to always be sure of the required product you need to install on your walls with the present document, you must consider each order may vary slightly of color tone and may look different when installing products of different lots on the same wall.
Wallpaper calculator
In all wallpaper covers there is a calculator where you can enter the height and width of the wall where you plan to install the selected wallpaper. These measurements must be entered in meters, for example, if the wall where we are planning to install the wallpaper has a 2 meters and 45 centimeters height, you must enter 2.45. The same way the wall width must be entered.

Once we enter the values, the calculator will automatically add the number of required rolls to the "Quantity" field.

Important: On many products the minimum quantity of purchase is 2 rolls, so it won't be possible to add only 1 roll. Under the product quantity there will be the message "The minimum purchase order quantity is 2 rolls".
In case you have many walls, you can add their measurements as shown in the following image.

Each time you add the measurements of a new all, the calculator will update the quantity of required rolls.
If you want to remove a wall, clic on the close button that appears at the right side as shown in the following image.

Important: Always remind to verify the measurements of your walls and the required quantity of product according to the present document, due to the information shown by the calculator may vary and we won't be responsible for wrong request orders for not reviewing this document.
